Houston, February 19, 2008 - Internet America, Inc. (OTCBB: GEEK), a Houston-based provider of Internet access services, announced today that Mark Ocker, Executive Vice President of Operations, has retired from the Company, effective February 14, 2008. Ocker was named Executive Vice President of the Company on July 29, 2007 and is former President of TeleShare Communications Services, Inc. (TeleShare) which was acquired by Internet America.
